Surveys going out this weekend!

Hi, everyone!
We hope you're all doing well -- we're happy to announce that the Smoke test surveys have been sent!
For those of you unfamiliar with that term, it means that Backerkit has sent surveys out to roughly 5% of the backers to be the guinea pigs. 😋 Seriously, it just means that a few backer surveys have been sent first so that we can make sure there aren't any critical questions or issues with the way the Pledge Manager is set up. We don't anticipate any major issues, but it is helpful to run a controlled set first, just in case.
They recommend 24hours or 75% of the smoke test to complete before sending the rest of the surveys, so the rest of you should receive your survey before the weekend. We'll post an update once the rest have gone out.
Thanks for your patience everyone! The books are inbound from the factory and the other items are wrapping up. We should be able to fulfill this as soon as everything reaches the warehouse in late October!

Hi everyone!
We are SO SORRY this thank you update is coming a day and a half after the conclusion of the campaign. We were out of town at GenCon and totally expected to be able to be there as the final minutes counted down with a bottle of champagne ready to pop, but our access to the internet was much more limited than we anticipated until we got home. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND TRUST! We know this campaign has been a bit "quieter" than most of our other campaigns -- fewer updates, late conclusion update, etc -- but this has been a very busy month, between San Diego Comic-Con last weekend and Gen Con this weekend... In retrospect, this may not have been the best window to run a campaign, but we appreciate your attention and support and know that you will be VERY happy with these books. They are FANTASTIC, and we are huge fans of Mig's work. This will not be the last you see of him from us... 😊
Not only did we end on a nice note, but two more stretch goals were unlocked in the process!
The books are printing now, and we are on track for our December shipping window. We aim to have these in your hands before Christmas, barring any unforeseen obstacles.
Thanks again, everyone! We promise that updates will be much more prompt moving forward! 😎 We'll have the surveys out and Pledge Manager set up within the next week or so, so watch for that update soon!
Stretch Goals and a Thank You comic strip by MIG!

Hi, everyone! Happy Monday!
We just revealed the first three stretch goals on the campaign page... and we're SOOOO CLOSE to unlocking the first one!
It's a very busy week for us as we prepare for San Diego Comic-Con (followed by GenCon the weekend after). But we're still hard at work on getting OGREST approved with the printers so we can have these in your hands before the holiday! All 1000+ pages -- five beautiful volumes -- are headed to the printing press as we speak! You saw the slipcase boxes in the last update... things are coming along well and are promising to turn out really nicely...
Mig has been really excited and supportive of everything so far, and he even created an original "Thank You" comic strip as a personal shout-out to the Magnetic Press OGREST campaign! Mig has been a great collaborator, and his passion for these characters comes through not only in every inked line, but every post he's done on his community on social.

Funded and an EARLY PEEK AT THE SLIPCASE!

Well, that escalated quickly... OGREST fully funded in 4 hours!!!
OGREST is fully funded, well over 200% strong, and YOU made it happen! But we’re not done yet. We’ve got more mayhem to unleash, more stretch goals to crack open, and more OGREST to drop on the unsuspecting Kickstarter landscape! Speaking of unexpected things...
...a surprise delivery appeared!
You can imagine our faces when this showed up in the mail yesterday... the OGREST slipcase proof is already here! This is just the case (no book proofs inside yet), but it’s what will eventually hold all five epic volumes for anyone who pledged at the “Chaos Collector” tier. So if you haven't claimed that tier as your pledge, this slipcase certainly is a reason to upgrade!
If you want to see what other rewards we’ve got locked in the vault, now’s the time to spread the word. Share the campaign. Shout it from a mountaintop on socials. Let’s push this campaign higher and summon the rest of this storm.
We'll be announcing new stretch goals ON MONDAY!
